Today, the main theme of the Jerzy Snakowski Operetta Folly was a dance. Dance in the operetta. Along with the audience we passed through the ravishing waltzes, czardas and can-can dances. The public had a chance to listen to the remarkable hit songs performed by Alicja Węgorzewska and Paweł Skałuba. The performance of the little bit forgotten song from the operetta  Granichstaedten by Orłowski was quite a surprise to the audience. The tradition of the Valentine’s Day Concerts will certainly become an inherent part of the Mazovian Music Theatre’s repertoire. The concert hall was bursting at the seams, and there was no end of the encores and ovations during the concert. The wonderful public sang together with the artists the classic love songs and the rhythm of the music carried the audience away. The third evening of The Operetta’s Folly is over. The evening Stars of the concerts were Marcelina Beucher and Przemysław Borys. The piano accompaniment was performed by Justyna Skoczek. This time, the head of the meeting, Jerzy Snakowski, introduced the audience to the artistic work of the composers, whose dream was to write the operas. Whereas, they were writing the operettas reluctantly. Our story began with Jacques Offenbach. The story of the composer was illustrated with the music and film from the Butterfly ballet. Christmas Concert : Zygmunt Kukla and His Guests – 17th of December 2015

On 17th of December 2015 the Mazovian Music Theatre organised in the Palladium Theatre the wonderful and sentimental Christmas Concert. The traditional Polish Carols and marvellous renowned Christmas hit songs enchanted the assembled audience. For the tasteful and impressive musical setting was responsible maestro Zygmunt Kukla. As the soloists performed the exceptional guests: Katarzyna Cerekwicka, Alicja Węgorzewska, Paweł Skałuba, Rafał Majewski and the Orchestra Kukla Band. 13.12.2015 – Bielany Chamber Hall “And the walls will fall..” the concert of songs written by Jacek Kaczmarski between the period of the late 70s’ till the late 90s’, that is the period of the political breakthrough, when the public feelings and the increasing rebellion atmosphere in Poland led to Solidarność revolution and the downfall of the communist government that was enforced after the Second World War. I Regret Nothing – Anna Sroka-Hryń – Edith Piaf’s 100th Birthday Anniversary

On 28th of November 2015 we had an honour to host Anna Sroka – Hryń on the Krakowskie Przedmieście Stages. She is famous mainly from the spectacle Edith and Marlene where she played the role of Edith and she is a star of Roma Theatre in Warsaw as well. With the accordion accompaniment that conveyed the delightful atmosphere of Paris, Anna Sroka – Hryń performed the greatest hits from the Edith Piaf’s repertoire. Fame – The Musical – 26.11.2015

Traditionally, the audience thanked the artists for the stunning show with the standing ovations. For the first time, on our stages, Jakub Werel played the part of Tyron. He truly deserves our hearty congratulations for his successful debut. The artists were supported by the brilliant band conducted by Adam Pietrzak.
