The Valentine’s Day Concert – Colours of Love – 14th of February 2016
The tradition of the Valentine’s Day Concerts will certainly become an inherent part of the Mazovian Music Theatre’s repertoire.
The concert hall was bursting at the seams, and there was no end of the encores and ovations during the concert. The wonderful public sang together with the artists the classic love songs and the rhythm of the music carried the audience away.
They performed for you: Director of MTeatr, Alicja Węgorzewska Mezzosopranist, Grzegorz Wilk – vocal, Bogdan Kierejsza – violin, Dariusz Świnoga – accordion.
The outstanding scenography and the wonderful atmosphere of the evening created Katarzyna Szymańska.
The concert began with the Grzegorz Wilk performance of the Elvis Presley song ” You are always on my mind„.
Afterwards we could hear i.a. Woman in love, Power of Love, La vie en rose … At the end of the concert, Alicja Węgorzewska performed the song My heart will go on from the Titanic movie.
The artists, as a joke, during the encores performed the song Miłość Ci wszystko wybaczy and as farewell to the audience they sang Time to say goodbye.
